General Cleaner

REGULAR FULL-TIME 2nd Shift

COTC – Newark Campus 

1179 University Drive, Newark, OH 43055


$250 Signing Bonus! 

 

Pay: 17.50/hr. (Plus an additional $0.25 Shift differential for 2nd shift)

 

Schedule: Monday through Friday - 4:00 pm to 12:30 am (Some weekend work is required for special events)


Licking/Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc. provides training, employment, and support services to individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment.

Job Duties:

  • Vacuuming
  • Dust and damp mopping
  • Restroom cleaning
  • Trash removal
  • Dusting
  • Ensure compliance with safety rules
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • 18 years or older 
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen (includes THC)
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Must be able to work around staff and students


Skills/Abilities:

  • Work independently and unsupervised
  • Good customer service skills
  • Meet attendance standards
  • Must be able to work around staff and students


Physical Requirements:

  • Lift up to 35 pounds
  • Climb stairs, bend, stoop, and reach
  • Walk long distances
