ResponsibilitiesÂ
Perform all Pharmacy Production Clerk Associate Representative responsibilities while consistently meeting quality and productivity standards.Â
Serve as a subject matter expert for pharmacy production workflows, policies, procedures, and quality standards.Â
Assist with onboarding and training new team members on production processes, safety expectations, quality standards, and best practices.Â
Provide ongoing guidance and support to team members regarding operational questions and process execution.Â
Model and reinforce quality expectations, safety standards, and established procedures.Â
Support leadership by identifying training opportunities, process improvements, and operational efficiencies.Â
Ensure each package receives the correct paperwork, envelopes, medications, packing materials, and shipping labels before shipment.Â
Consistently work on only one order at a time to ensure accuracy and quality.Â
Ensure shipping information and patient addresses are accurate and printed correctly.Â
Accurately package prescriptions requiring special handling according to specific process and policy requirements.Â
Perform visual inspections of patient-bound medications and packaging for quality concerns.Â
Support medication preparation activities, including inspecting, labeling, and repackaging medications from manufacturer containers when applicable.Â
Prepare mail sacks, bulk containers, and packages for shipment and distribution.Â
Perform material handling activities, including stocking shelves, replenishing workstations, and maintaining inventory supplies.Â
Promote collaboration and share best practices across the team.Â
Escalate issues appropriately and provide recommendations that support quality and continuous improvement.Â
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.Â
Perform other duties and special assignments as needed to support pharmacy operations.Â
Required QualificationsÂ
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.Â
General PC knowledge required.Â
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Â
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Â
Good visual acuity.Â
Ability to read, compare, and differentiate data accurately.Â
Ability to review small medications, labels, and bottles for extended periods of time.Â
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.Â
Demonstrated ability to assist others, share knowledge, and support team success.Â
Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability while performing different roles throughout a shift.Â
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.Â
Preferred QualificationsÂ
Experience assisting with training, onboarding, mentoring, or coaching team members.Â
Experience serving as a subject matter expert or resource for operational processes.Â
Experience supporting quality improvement or operational excellence initiatives.Â
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
