The Rigging Department Tech maintains and prepares inventory and rentals in compliance with Official Rental Product Line (ORPL) standards.

 
Responsibilities

  • Fills daily orders: Pulling and filling all assigned orders ensuring the equipment has been prepped to ORPL standards. Checking out all rental equipment on orders to Nexus using either barcode scanner or manual data entry. Labelling cases accurately with show information; order number, customer, date & show name. Delivering rental products to appropriate staging area by the time and date indicated in Nexus.
  • Maintains inventory: Following all ORPL prep procedures to ensure equipment is maintained to Christie Lites standards. Checking equipment that does not pass prep standards into service. Packaging and storing equipment that is not needed immediately for rental. Conducting periodic inventory counts as required. Informing supervisor of inventory inaccuracies.
  • Maintains organized work area: Ensuring all tools and supplies are returned to proper storage areas at the end of shift. Ensuring rental products are stored in an approved ORPL manner. Cleaning and sanitizing workstation daily and common areas as assigned.  Removing recycling and waste to appropriate disposal areas. Informing supervisor of low stock of supplies.
  • Offers miscellaneous help: Assisting in all other departments as directed by supervisor. Assisting with warehouse projects directed by supervisor. Have the opportunity to join the Joint Health and Safety Committee.

  • Capable of lifting over 50 LBS repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Basic computer skills Nexus, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Zoom, Teams.

  • Previous warehouse, logistics, production, or event experience is a plus.
