Minimum qualifications:Â
- 1+ year of Talent Acquisition knowledge and recruiting experience Â
- Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally as necessaryÂ
- Experience proactively identify and engage passive and active candidates through diverse channels to build strong pipelinesÂ
- Ability to build trust and strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and partners throughout the recruitment processÂ
- Ability to communicate clearly with all stakeholders, including crafting job descriptions, delivering assessments, and consulting with hiring managersÂ
- Excellent time management, follow-through and organizational skills working in a fast-paced environmentÂ
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Â
- The ability to work across time zones and collaborate with diverse teams Â
- The ability to stand and sit for long periods of time during hiring and vendor events  Â
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipÂ
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationÂ
- Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the positionÂ
Preferred qualifications:Â
- Fluent in Portuguese
- Experience planning and executing hiring events Â
- Experience with recruiting tools such as Taleo, Workday, Phenom, and LinkedInÂ
- Experience handing confidential informationÂ
- Demonstrates an understanding of the capabilities and limitations of generative AI tools and effectively leverages them to support research, analysis, content creation, and problem-solving. Apply critical thinking to validate AI-generated outputs while adhering to organizational policies for responsible AI use, data privacy, and security

About the job:Â
The Recruiter will support United’s International Regions in multiple countries. This role utilizes in-depth knowledge of recruitment practices and a basic understanding of related HR disciplines to solve complex staffing challenges. Works independently to source, screen, and interview candidates across multiple corporate and operational divisions and job categories, potentially leading specific hiring initiatives or programs. Acts as a resource for less experienced colleagues while ensuring accurate maintenance of recruitment records.Â
Core accountabilities / key responsibilities:Â
- Partners with hiring managers to establish specific recruitment plans for open positions, consulting with them on the justification and cost of adding/replacing positionsÂ
- Manages complex recruitment activity, and approaches sourcing process creatively using innovative techniquesÂ
- Independently sources and screens/interviews internal and external applicants and advises hiring managers on hiring decisionsÂ
- Partners with hiring managers to develop offers by utilizing expertise in offer construction, delivery, and compensation package designÂ
- Communicates and explains the terms of employment offer to candidatesÂ
- May require knowledge of union contracts/ongoing negotiations when discussing compensationÂ
- Aggregates candidate data for the purposes of negotiating with applicants during offer processÂ
- Supports offer process with hiring manager and local HRÂ
- Assist in promoting a strong employment brand and ensuring a positive candidate experience by creating a high touch environmentÂ
- Ensures integrity and compliance with policies and procedures through the entire talent acquisition processÂ
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with candidates and hiring managers from diverse cultural backgroundsÂ
The base pay range for this role is $66,500.00 to $86,616.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
