Senior Account Reconciliation Specialist

Accounting | Bank Reconciliation | Financial Reporting | Oracle ERP | Remote

 

Are you an experienced accounting professional with a background in banking, financial services, account reconciliation, or financial operations?

 

Do you enjoy analyzing financial data, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring the accuracy of critical financial transactions and financial reporting?

 

As a Senior Account Reconciliation Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records through bank reconciliations, account analysis, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience working within banking, financial services, accounting operations, or treasury-related environments.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and investigate and resolve variances.

  • Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting documentation.

  • Generate financial, operational, and reconciliation reports using Oracle ERP and other financial systems.

  • Download, review, and reconcile daily bank and payment processor reports.

  • Manage reconciliation activities for multiple client accounts while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Research and resolve transaction discrepancies, exceptions, and account imbalances.

  • Maintain accurate financial records, supporting schedules, and audit documentation.

  • Assist with month-end close, account analysis, general ledger reconciliation, and financial reporting activities.

  • Analyze financial data and provide reporting support to management and clients as needed.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in accounting, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, financial reporting, banking operations, or financial services.

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, and reporting.

  • Experience performing general ledger reconciliations, account analysis, and financial reporting.

  • Experience using Oracle ERP or similar ERP/accounting systems.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Ability to work effectively from a home office and travel to the office as business needs require.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience preparing financial statements and supporting month-end close processes.

  • Experience supporting multiple clients, business units, or financial portfolios.

  • Knowledge of banking operations, payment processing, treasury operations, or financial services accounting.

  • Experience identifying process improvements within accounting operations and reconciliation workflows.

  • Experience working in a remote or hybrid environment.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $38,400-$48,000.
