Job Title: Senior Engineer II, Technology Operations

Job Location: 300 Continental Drive, Newark, DE 19713

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday

Duties:

  • Responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of various systems within the company.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive technology operations strategy aligned with the organization's goals, ensuring the effective and efficient use of technology resources.
  • Manage and maintain the organization's technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and data centers, to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement appropriate technology systems and solutions to support the organization's operations, improving efficiency, productivity, and user experience.
  • Collaborate with finance and executive teams to develop and manage the technology operations budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources while meeting business requirements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including executive leadership, project managers, and business units, to understand technology needs, align priorities, and deliver solutions that support organizational objectives.
  • Remote Work Permitted.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Workday Integration Consultant, Software Developer, or related role where required experience was gained. Also requires experience in the following:

  • Develop new and modify existing integrations from Workday to internal and external clients using Workday technologies (i.e., Benefits, Payroll, internal systems, etc.) including PGP/SSH key management, calculated fields, custom reports, EIBs, Document Transformation, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Web Services, etc.;
  • Provide production support for clients on Workday integrations and HR related applications, including addressing inquiries on the technology, processes, or user access to resolve issues;
  • Partner with colleagues in the design, testing, and support of Workday integrations including regression testing during bi-annual Workday releases;
  • Participate in walk-throughs which review integration changes, source code, and all technical supporting documentation, while providing feedback in accordance with department standards and guidelines;
  • Experience working with Workday Studio;
  • Experience with integration technologies such as Web Services, XML, XSLT, SOAP, and Java;
  • Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes; and
  • Monitoring large number of Workday Integrations to ensure integration operability.
