The Role

We have an opportunity for Building Envelope Engineer for our Restoration & Renewal Practice. We are looking for a candidate with experience in building envelope design, building envelope evaluations, and/or property loss consulting. This will include all aspects of building envelopes including below grade conditions, opaque walls, glazed assemblies, and roof systems.


Responsibilities

  • Completing building envelope analysis and repair rehabilitation design of building envelope systems.
  • Coordination of design work with in-house staff as well as other consultants including Architects and other Engineering disciplines, Cost Consultants, and Contractors.
  • Projects will be in building envelope repair, renovation, demolition and expansions of current buildings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with existing buildings for renovation and extensions.
  • Hold or working towards a Professional Engineer (PE) and/or RA License.
  • Ability and willingness to travel

Compensation

The rate for this position generally is $77,000 - $90,000 annually.  Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by New Jersey Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employee already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee’s pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
