Automotive Transmission Rebuilder
Position Responsibilities
- Diagnose, rebuild and repair automotive transmission systems to specifications- knowledge of electrical and computer systems is a plus
- Explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include other teammates and customers as required
- Remove and Reinstall Transmission systems
- Assist other technicians in performing technical activities
- Continuously learns new technical information and techniques informal training session in order to stay abreast with the rapidly changing automotive technology
- Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
- Maintains an organized service department

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience working as a Automotive Transmission Rebuilder
- Hold a valid driver’s license
- Own professional grade tools
- Experience with mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience specific to transmission rebuilding
- Ability to communicate solutions to others
- ASE certifications a plus
- Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
