Wastewater and Production Operator - Shift 12:00-8:30pm

Position Overview:

The primary role of this position is to operate Microfiltration System and assist with the safety program.

Essential Duties and Requirements:

  • Assist with maintaining wastewater treatment plants to ensure compliance with all regulations
  • Monitor treatment plants to ensure proper water flow and make necessary adjustments or clean-outs as needed
  • Follow appropriate policies and procedures, and a schedule of needed testing
  • Assist with the company safety program and ensure operations meet OSHA requirements.
  • Ensure all necessary chemicals are delivered and safely stored
  • Maintain a clean work area 
  • Assist other departments as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Desired Skills and Experience:

    • High school diploma/GED with work experience
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Problem solving skills
    • Detail oriented 
    • Ability to read and understand regulatory requirements, communicate with agencies and develop procedures
    • Good oral and written skills
    • Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs. Requires standing, walking and ability to use a ladder
    • Assist with the upkeep of manufacturing areas and providing a clean and safe work environment
    • Mechanical abilities
    • Other duties as assigned
