Position Overview:
The primary role of this position is to operate Microfiltration System and assist with the safety program.
Essential Duties and Requirements:
- Assist with maintaining wastewater treatment plants to ensure compliance with all regulations
- Monitor treatment plants to ensure proper water flow and make necessary adjustments or clean-outs as needed
- Follow appropriate policies and procedures, and a schedule of needed testing
- Assist with the company safety program and ensure operations meet OSHA requirements.
- Ensure all necessary chemicals are delivered and safely stored
- Maintain a clean work area
- Assist other departments as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Desired Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma/GED with work experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Problem solving skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to read and understand regulatory requirements, communicate with agencies and develop procedures
- Good oral and written skills
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs. Requires standing, walking and ability to use a ladder
- Assist with the upkeep of manufacturing areas and providing a clean and safe work environment
- Mechanical abilities
- Other duties as assigned
