Work Schedule Hours: Mon-Fri Night Shift (4 pm to 12 am or 10 pm to 6 am), Saturdays as needed.

Position Overview: Drivers will operate yard hostlers, pallet jacks and forklifts assignments in warehouses, depots and/or terminals. Individual must represent us in a professional manner and follow safety guidelines at all times.

Important Job Functions:

Responsible to maintain a neat and orderly storage lot oriented toward maximizing efficiency in servicing the customer needs
Responsible for accounting for records involving trailer numbers and position of vehicles
Must function and interact on a daily basis with operations managers and / or depot managers and comply with safety requirements
Must communicate using cellular telephone or 2-way radio with operations, and personnel in a courteous and professional manner
Proper use of Airline/Electrical hookup/and Backing procedure is a must
Follow all company policies, guidelines, and quality procedures
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the equipment
Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse and yard
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Valid License
Willing to load and unload

Other Skills/Abilities:

Must be able to understand written and spoken instructions
May be working in crowded industrial spaces, so safety awareness is key
Some assignments include responsibility to clean trailers

$20-25 an hour based on experience
