Job Description

  

Material Handler - Packing/Shipping.  

Teledyne ETM is seeking a material handler for the Shipping/ Receiving area in our Newark, CA office. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and 401k with company match.

Responsibilities:

  • Pack units for shipping:
  • Final Inspection
  • Touch up
  • Complete shipping checklists
  • Handle units to be packaged and readied for carrier pick up
  • Boxing, crating, labeling
  • Print and attach packing slips and shipping documentation
  • Other shipping office backup duties:
  • Accurately perform shipping transaction maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy
  • Keep shipping dock clean
  • Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick up for on time delivery
  • Receive RMA units and push to production for repair
  • Provide additional help as needed in our main stockroom
  • Other duties as assigned by Stockroom Manager

Desired Job Requirements and Skills: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prefer previous experience working in an electronics manufacturing environment on stockroom functions
  • Ability to use pallet jack and forklift
  • Ability to repetitively lift 20 to 50 pound packages
  • Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in completing work assignments while complying verbal and written instructions      
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • May work overtime during weekdays and weekends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be  eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce

  

Salary Range:

$42,800.00-$57,100.000
