About the Role:
Liberty Nursing Agency Inc is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Home Infusion Nurse to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered infusion therapy in the comfort of patients' homes. Responsibilities:
- Administer IV infusion therapies including antibiotics, hydration, IVIG and specialty medications in patients' homes
- Assess, monitor, and document patient responses to infusion treatments and report changes in condition
- Insert, maintain, and troubleshoot peripheral and central venous access devices (PICC lines, ports, central lines)
- Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, medication management, and home care protocols
- Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and agency standards
- Manage infusion supplies for each patient visit
Requirements:
- Active RNÂ license in the state of New Jersey
- Minimum 1-2 years of infusion therapy, IV therapy, or home health nursing experience preferred
- Proficiency in peripheral IV insertion (Port and PICC experience a plus, will train)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license for home visit travel
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible patient schedule
