Setting: Pediatric Private Duty Nursing (1:1 Home Care)

Affirmed Home Care is seeking compassionate and experienced per diem Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for pediatric clients in Newark and the surrounding communities.

This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing skilled, individualized care in the comfort of a child's home. We are currently hiring for evening and weekend shifts with flexible scheduling available.

Position Responsibilities

Provide skilled, compassionate 1:1 nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes
Assess, monitor, and document changes in the patient's condition
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
Collaborate with families and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure exceptional patient care
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Follow infection control protocols and ensure a safe home care environment

Pay Rate

Registered Nurse (RN): $45.00 per hour

Available Shifts

Evening Shifts
Weekend Shifts

Flexible scheduling available.

Qualifications

Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license
Pediatric nursing experience preferred (home care or facility setting)
Current BLS Certification
Authorized to work in the United States
Valid driver's license preferred
Physical examination completed within the past 12 months
PPD or QuantiFERON test within the past year (or chest X-ray within the past 5 years if applicable)
Proof of MMR immunization
