Schedule: Saturday and Sunday (Every other week) 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

SUMMARY:Â
Environmental Service is the main defense against serious infections that may linger on surfaces throughout a medical facility. Collaboration between infection prevention and environmental services (EVS) staff limits the prospect of disease transmission within the healthcare environment.Â
RESPONSIBILITIES:Â
Cleaning & Maintenance - Follow a written schedule to complete the approved cleaning process task sheet; dispose of regulated medical waste/trash; set up and/or clean conference rooms and common areas; operate mechanical floor cleaners (as assigned).Â
Policy & Procedure - Adhere to all uniform, attendance, departmental and organizational policies and procedures.Â
Prioritization - Display good judgment when prioritizing multiple requests or responsibilities.Â

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Â
Previous environmental services experience preferred.Â
Ability to prioritize and follow verbal and written instructions.Â
Customer service driven.Â

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
