Position Summary

Fabuwood is seeking a motivated and safety-focused Ready-to-Ship (RTS) Supervisor to oversee daily operations within the Ready-to-Ship area, from the box machine through shipping staging. This role is responsible for leading the RTS team, maintaining workflow efficiency, ensuring product quality, and promoting a positive, safety-first work environment.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can effectively manage people, productivity, and inventory while ensuring smooth operations and timely shipment flow.

Key Responsibilities

Safety & Equipment

  • Promote and maintain a strong safety-first culture throughout the department.

  • Perform daily checks of conveyors, box machines, and related equipment to ensure proper operation.

  • Identify and report safety concerns or equipment issues promptly.

Team Leadership & Workflow Management

  • Lead and support pickers and RTS team members with a positive and professional attitude.

  • Monitor productivity levels to prevent delays and minimize unnecessary overtime.

  • Ensure consistent product flow from the box machine through put-away and shipping staging.

  • Communicate operational priorities clearly and effectively to the team.

Labor Management

  • Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to maximize team efficiency.

  • Ensure all employees are properly utilized throughout the shift.

  • Monitor staffing needs and control overtime while maintaining productivity goals.

Supplies & Inventory Control

  • Track packaging and operational supplies to ensure adequate inventory levels.

  • Reorder supplies proactively to prevent stock shortages.

  • Verify inventory counts and maintain accurate records as needed.

Quality Control

  • Oversee proper handling of boxes and products from production through shipping staging.

  • Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage.

  • Maintain quality standards and address issues immediately when identified.

Qualifications

Required

  • Previous leadership experience in warehouse, shipping, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution operations.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and operational procedures.

  • Ability to motivate, coach, and hold team members accountable.

Preferred

  • Experience supervising warehouse or production teams.

  • Experience with inventory management systems (WMS/ERP).

  • Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
