Job Title: Wood Crate Assembler

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Wood Crate Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing wooden crates and packaging materials used for shipping and storage. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with hand and power tools, follows safety procedures, and can meet production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble wooden crates, pallets, and shipping containers according to specifications and blueprints

• Measure, cut, and secure wood pieces using hand tools and power tools (e.g., nail guns, saws, drills)

• Inspect materials for defects and ensure finished products meet quality standards

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures

• Assist with loading, packing, and preparing crates for shipment as needed

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous experience in carpentry, woodworking, or general labor is a plus

• Ability to read basic measurements and follow instructions

• Comfortable using hand and power tools

• Strong attention to detail and workmanship

• Ability to lift heavy materials (typically up to 50 lbs or more)

• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

Working Conditions:

• Warehouse or workshop environment

• Exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures

• Standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods

Schedule:

• 4/10 work schedule Monday - Thursday 

• Overtime may be required based on workload
