    Job Description:
  • Responsible for setting up equipment in preparation for startup, and responsible for keeping Douglas department with supplies needed to run production and keep finished product moved out, while also being able to adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies.  
  • Monitor production area for trash and debris on floor.  
  • Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent.  
  • Must be willing and able to read the schedule of products to be processed and compare the information to the current product being ran and write the information on the product check sheet. 

    REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Must be able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.  
  • Management will appoint a trained designee to fill in for absentees and vacancies.  
  • ALL employees are responsible for upholding principles of SQF 2000. 
  • Familiar with the safe operation of production line conveyor equipment.  
  • Basic Math Skills and ability to become certified in Lock Out tag Out Program. 
  • Must be willing and able to communicate effectively with company employees and all levels of management.    
  • Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours.   
  • Must be willing and able to pinch/grip product and place into specified location.   
  • Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to bending, twisting, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting. 
  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.  
  • Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • This location does not accept rehires
  • Must have 6 months continuous employment in the last 18 months. Preferred candidates will have at least 6 months of relevant machine operator, warehouse, agricultural or production experience.
