Job Details:

Schedule - Monday - Friday with possible Saturday's

Hours - 7:30 pm - until finished

Pay - 23.65/Hr. plus 1.00 shift differential

Job Description:

  • This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing work areas and, assembling and disassembling equipment while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. 
  • Dry pickup area. 
  • Break down and set up equipment where needed. 
  • Use of high-pressure hose to rinse area and floor. 
  • Use of various chemicals to foam and scrub floor. 
  • Visually check area for cleanliness. 
  • Ability to work closely with Quality Assurance and USDA. 
  • Uphold the principals of SQF 2000. 
  • Work schedule will vary depending on production Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent. 

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours. 
  • Ability to become certified in Tyson’s Lock Out/Tag Out program. 
  • Must be willing and able to pinch/grip product/equipment. 
  • Familiar with safe operation and use of high-pressure hoses and sanitation chemicals. 
  • Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to bending, twisting, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting. 
  • Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.  
  • Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Must have 6 MThs continuous employment in the last 18 months. Preferred candidates will have at least 6 MThs of relevant machine operator, warehouse, agriculture or production experience.
  • Newbern does not accept rehires
