Job Summary

Develops and implement safety-related programs and processes meant to prevent injuries, fires, or other workplace accidents. 1st Shift

Job Duties

  • Inspects the workplace and identifies and addresses potential safety hazards
  • Creates and delivers safety training programs educating employees on safe working practices, appropriate equipment operation, and emergency procedures
  • Investigates incidents or accidents, gathers and analyzes statistics, and makes recommendations for improvements
  • Prepares and submits accident reports in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements
  • Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
  • Adheres to 5S standards (e.g., maintains cleanliness of workstation, etc.
  • Follows all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Experience and Education

  • 0-2 years of experience and typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Handles basic issues and problems and refers complex issues to higher-level staff
  • Performs work under direct supervision
  • Possesses beginning to work knowledge of subject matter
