Job Summary

Develops and implement safety-related programs and processes meant to prevent injuries, fires, or other workplace accidents. 1^st Shift

Job Duties

Inspects the workplace and identifies and addresses potential safety hazards
Creates and delivers safety training programs educating employees on safe working practices, appropriate equipment operation, and emergency procedures
Investigates incidents or accidents, gathers and analyzes statistics, and makes recommendations for improvements
Prepares and submits accident reports in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements
Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
Adheres to 5S standards (e.g., maintains cleanliness of workstation, etc.
Follows all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures
Performs other duties as assigned

Experience and Education

0-2 years of experience and typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree
High school diploma or equivalent
Handles basic issues and problems and refers complex issues to higher-level staff
Performs work under direct supervision
Possesses beginning to work knowledge of subject matter
