Job Summary:
The Central Processing Technician manages the process of proper sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment for the hospital.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have previous experience in a similar position or be a certified surgical technician
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
- Certification in surgical technology (CST) OR Certification in Sterile Processing (CRCST)
