Job Description

As a Security Officer Electronic Access Monitoring in Prosperity, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, monitor alarm panels, and support a secure, welcoming environment. Using computer or tablet systems, you will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and help address security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and required documentation related to access activity, incidents, inspections, and shift operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience using alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
