Title:  Dispatcher

Base Pay Rate Range: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour, based on experience

Bonus Incentives: Night Shift Differential

Location: Newburgh, NY

Employment Types: Full-time and Per Diem available

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days and nights available, Must have consistent weekend availability.

Responsibilities:

• Call Management: Handle high-volume intake calls, prioritize, and dispatch using CAD systems

• Resource Coordination: Determine the appropriate level of care and coordinate transport activities with field EMTs Customer Service: Provide courteous, friendly service to medical facilities, the public, and fellow EMS staff

• Trip Assignment: Assign trips to the appropriate resources based on needs and availability

• Billing Support: Collect patient billing information and assist with pre-billing activities.

• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting

• Preferred Qualifications: 1-2 years of transportation dispatch experience (EMS dispatch preferred), Emergency Medical Technician - EMT experience

• Strong geographical knowledge of service areas

• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations

• Proficiency in typing (40-45 WPM) and data entry experience

• Familiarity with computer-aided dispatch (CAD) software
