What you will be doing as a Mobile Service Operations Manager:

In this role, you can expect to lead the operations of a domestic Mobile Service Center, guiding high-performing support teams to deliver exceptional customer service and operational excellence. You’ll drive cross‑functional projects and improvements—across tools, systems, staffing, and scheduling—to elevate aircraft maintenance efficiency, safety, quality, and overall customer satisfaction. Candidate can reside at any service center location in the United States.

Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

·         Operational Leadership & Strategy Alignment: Partner with the General Manager and leaders to drive operational strategies, influence change, and lead teams across a large, remote, 24/7 organization through coaching and direction

·         Continuous Improvement & Change Leadership: Lead both tactical projects and strategic initiatives that strengthen a culture of continuous improvement across customer service, maintenance operations, and technical teams

·         Customer-Centered Problem Solving: Guide teams through complex customer service and maintenance challenges by applying deep knowledge of aircraft maintenance, operations, and service excellence to improve the customer experience

·         Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross‑functional partners to advance improvements in maintenance practices, safety, quality, business operations, and technical performance

·         Planning, Forecasting & Process Optimization: Collaborate with sales, scheduling, planning, and parts organizations to improve forecasting, project planning, and inventory strategies using data, trends, and maintenance insights

·         Data‑Driven Performance Improvement: Analyze labor, billing, inventory, margin, and quality metrics to identify trends, drive corrective actions, and ensure timely execution across internal and external teams



What you need to be successful:

Required:

·               Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Aviation, or related field is required

·               Minimum 10 years of relative aviation experience and continuous improvement is required

·         Aftermarket repair/maintenance environment, manufacturing operations experience is helpful

·         Minimum 8 years of progressive management experience is required

 

Other Qualifications:

·         Exceptional customer service standards and employee relations skills is required for this role

·         A high understanding of industry knowledge and end-to-end business process is needed

·         A strong business and financial acumen is needed to maintain a process focus and analyze data, metrics, risks, and control

·         Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally

·         Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport authority, if applicable

·         Travel is required for this role
