We are looking for a Plant Wide Auditor to join Kaiser Aluminum Warrick Operations in Newburgh, Indiana!

This position is accountable for applying systems and process knowledge in material set up, process improvement, practice optimization, and problem-solving. The principal challenge of this position is to ensure that materials are set up correctly and no nonconforming product is produced because of a set up issue.  This position is also responsible for auditing and providing feedback on nonconformities in our Quality system.

What you will work on:

  • Set up Material Masters and maintain product set up sheets.
  • Work with Product Metallurgists and Process Engineers to ensure our product specifications and tolerances are current.
  • Manage the DMRs and customer credit reporting.
  • Manage the return area.
  • Plant wide auditing of quality procedures.

About you:

  • 5 years experience in Manufacturing and Quality systems
  • Ability to function in a Team environment
  • SAP experience is preferred but not required
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Willingness to learn about our process flow and products
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective interpersonal skills
