As Compounding Pharmacy Technician, you will be an integral part of our specialized compounding team dedicated to maintaining the highest standards at assisting our patients. This role demands a high level of attention to detail, as you will primarily spend your time in our compounding suite. Your responsibilities will encompass, compounding both nonsterile and sterile preparations, maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the compounding suite, adhering to State, Federal and USP regulations through daily documentation.
Work Schedule:  Monday- Friday 9 AM -to 5:30 PM  Typically no weekends or holidays
What you need to do the job:
High School Diploma, or GED required.
MA State Pharmacy Technician license required.
National PTCB certification preferred ;required within one year of obtaining position.
Strong Math skills related to prescription calculations.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Physical requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to perform highly physical daily/weekly/monthly cleaning activities wearing a respirator, eye protection and full cover sterile attire (includes lifting objects 20-30 lbs., bending, stretching, reaching above and below head and waist, kneeling and climbing step ladders)
Adherence to strict personal hygiene requirements prohibiting the wearing of jewelry, makeup, hair extensions, false eyelashes and long and/or false fingernails while working
Please note: This position is fully on‑site and does not permit remote work. Any references to home‑based internet requirements do not apply to this role.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 20 - 30 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
