HVAC - Project Technician

We are seeking skilled and motivated HVAC Installers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with the installation, replacement, and start-up of HVAC systems in both residential and light commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and replace HVAC systems, ductwork, and related components
• Interpret and work from mechanical drawings and blueprints
• Perform system start-ups and basic troubleshooting
• Ensure work complies with all relevant codes and safety standards
• Collaborate with team members and project managers on job sites
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and job sites in a clean and organized manner

Qualifications:

• 3+  years of HVAC installation experience preferred
• EPA certification and Master Sheet Metal License
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding mechanical layouts
• Physical ability to lift 75 lbs and work in various conditions
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Eligibility Requirements

• This position requires a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Employment/education will be verified.
• Applicants  must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Caswell Mechanical is a drug-free workplace and requires post-offer pre-employment  drug testing.

Physical Requirements

• Able to work in a variety of extreme weather, hot and cold conditions.
• Able to work safely in confined spaces such as attics, basements, closets, and crawl spaces.
• Able to work safely at elevated heights such as rooftops, ceilings, and ladders.
• Able to bend, crawl, stoop, stretch, and reach.
• Able to walk on uneven surfaces.
• Able to work off a ladder, sometimes at heights.
• Able  to safely lift 50 pounds.
