Job Summary:

As a Journeyman Plumber at Caswell Mechanical, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems on a variety of projects. This role requires a high level of technical knowledge, independence, and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and service water, gas, and drainage piping systems
• Read and interpret plumbing blueprints and specifications
• Ensure installations meet state and local code requirements
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with team leads
• Follow all safety protocols on-site

Requirements

Requirements:

• Valid Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber License required
• 3+ years of professional plumbing experience
• Strong knowledge of state plumbing codes and system design
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Eligibility Requirements:

• This position requires a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Employment/education will be verified.
• Applicants  must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Caswell Mechanical is a drug-free workplace and requires post-offer pre-employment  drug testing.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to work in a variety of extreme weather, hot and cold conditions.
• Able  to work safely in confined spaces such as attics, basements, closets, and  crawl spaces.
• Able  to work safely at elevated heights such as rooftops, ceilings, and ladders.
• Able  to bend, crawl, stoop, stretch, and reach.
• Able  to walk on uneven surfaces.
• Able  to work off a ladder, sometimes at heights.
• Able   to safely lift 50 pounds.
