Location: Newcastle, WY | Department: Nursing Home | FLSA: Non-Exempt

As a Licensed Practical Nurse in Long-Term Care, you’ll work alongside a dedicated team to provide compassionate care, carry out clinical treatments, and ensure residents receive the support they need to thrive. What You’ll Do

  • Provide direct, hands-on nursing care to residents, including medications and treatments
  • Monitor resident conditions and report changes to the RN or provider
  • Accurately document care, treatments, and observations in the medical record
  • Ensure safe, effective medication administration and follow all clinical protocols
  • Supervise and support CNAs to ensure quality daily care
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team
  • Respond promptly to resident needs, call lights, and emergencies
  • Follow all regulatory, infection control, and safety standards
  • Support individualized care plans and resident-centered care
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment and quality of life for residents

What We’re Looking For

  • Wyoming State Licensed Practical Nurse
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Exceptional knowledge of medical terminology and processes.
  • Has and maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills 
  • Experience in Long-Term care nursing preferred
  • Willing to work take after-hours calls and work holidays and weekends, as assigned.
