Job Description:

AgState is currently seeking a motivated Feed Truck Driver to join our Feed Department. As a Feed Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in delivering goods to our customers while upholding the highest standards of customer service and safety. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills while interacting with customers and collaborating with co-workers and other departments within AgState.
• Drive a truck to deliver feed goods to customers.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on the truck and conduct daily pre-trip inspections.
• Schedule maintenance with appropriate personnel.
• Load and unload the truck efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck to uphold the professional image of AgState..
• Assist with other locations as needed.
• Be a team player.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to AgState’s Safety Policy.

Qualifications

• Meet the physical and medical requirements set by the Department of Transportation (DOT). 
• Demonstrate the ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds from the floor to a height of 48 inches. 
• Exhibit a high level of attention to detail.
• Be prepared, if necessary, to wear a respirator.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Must have and maintain a valid Class A CDL.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• 1-2 years of driving experience preferred, but willing to train.
• No restrictions – can drive manual transmission.
