ABCD has a current and immediate opening for a fulltime Preschool Assistant Teacher in Training.

General role
Under the direction of the Lead Teacher and Education Coordinator promotes the theories and principles of child growth and development, early childhood education, and family support. Puts into practice theories and sound principles of child education.
You will remain in training until you have successfully obtained your CDA.
Education / Experience / Requirements
- Preferred: Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development from an accredited institution.
- Accepted: Associate degree in a related field with 6 credit-bearing courses relevant to competencies in early childhood education AND experience working with young children.
- Will obtain Childhood Development Associate (CDA)certification within 6 months - 1 year of hire
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.
