Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to research and develop prototypes, assess technical feasibility, and transition innovative solutions into future products and systems. Provides technical leadership in concept development of high-speed data acquisition and processing, system architecture, and technology integration efforts. Responsibilities and Duties:    Research, evaluate, and develop emerging technologies in FPGA, ASIC, CPU, and related computing architectures to support future technology and product roadmaps. Generate and mature innovative technology concepts from ideation through proof-of-concept, prototype development, testing, and validation. Design, implement, and optimize FPGA-based and embedded hardware solutions to demonstrate technical feasibility and performance. Conduct technology assessments, trade studies, and feasibility analyses to identify and recommend solutions for complex engineering challenges. Develop and execute experiments, data acquisition activities, and signal processing analyses to validate technology performance and readiness. Apply systems engineering principles to integrate advanced technologies into broader system architectures and future product platforms. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to advance technology development, resolve technical issues, and achieve program objectives. Analyze technical data, identify risks, and develop innovative solutions that improve system performance, reliability, and scalability. Prepare and present technical documentation, reports, design reviews, and recommendations to communicate project status and research findings. Support the transition of validated technologies into product development programs while maintaining awareness of emerging industry trends, technologies, and best practices.   QualificationsSkills/Abilities Master's degree in electrical and computer engineering. 5+ years of experience in engineering and research of FPGA, ASIC, CPU or related development. Strong programming skills, knowledge of FPGA Experience developing technology concepts from ideation through prototype development and validation. Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and technology integration. Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary engineering teams. Experience evaluating technology solutions and transitioning concepts into product development. Knowledge of data acquisition systems, signal processing.
