Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Oracle Business Analyst to serve as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders and IT within a modern Oracle enterprise environment. This role supports a multi-year Oracle modernization initiative spanning Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM), and related Oracle cloud services. You will play a key role in driving functional design, process improvement, and solution delivery across Oracle Financials, ensuring business requirements are translated into scalable, compliant, and value-driven Oracle solutions. Responsibilities Serve as a trusted advisor and functional lead for Oracle Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM; Projects a plus) Partner with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements Translate business needs into functional designs, solution options, and implementation approaches Support modernization initiatives including EBS optimization, cloud integrations, analytics enablement, and GTM alignment Lead functional design reviews, impact assessments, and solution walkthroughs with key stakeholders Collaborate with technical architects and developers to ensure solutions align with business intent and Oracle best practices Lead the reporting and analytics initiatives using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and BI Publisher Lead the testing activities including test planning, UAT execution, and defect triage/resolution Lead and support change management efforts including documentation, training, and stakeholder communications Lead the group to define functional standards, governance processes, and best-practice adoption across the Oracle ecosystem QualificationsQualifications 10+ years of experience as an Oracle Business Analyst and/or Oracle Functional Consultant Strong functional expertise in Oracle Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM; Projects preferred) Hands-on experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) in a complex enterprise environment Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, matrixed organizations with competing priorities Some exposure to OCI, OAC, GTM, EPM, or other Oracle Cloud services strongly preferred Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical solutions Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including leading workshops and design discussions Comfortable partnering with technical teams and reviewing solution designs for fit and feasibility Strong documentation skills (requirements, process flows, use cases, test scenarios) Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and delivery accountability NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
