This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing monthly journal entries, managing the capital expenditure process, reconciling corporate cash accounts, and overseeing intercompany transactions and payments. The Senior Staff Accountant will collaborate cross‑functionally with finance, operations, and procurement to ensure compliance with corporate policies and facilitate an efficient month‑end close process. This position requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP. Manage the full lifecycle of capital expenditures, including project setup, tracking, asset capitalization, and depreciation. Perform monthly reconciliations of cash accounts and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner. Process, track, and reconcile intercompany transactions, payments, and settlements. Support the month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. Assist in preparing financial statements, schedules, and supporting documentation for internal and external auditors. Partner with departments across the organization to gather financial information and ensure proper accounting treatment. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles. Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data validation). Experience with fixed assets and capital project tracking a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
