Whether you’re a seasoned applicant seeking a new and exciting challenge, or you’re new to the workforce and looking for a flexible, rewarding, and fast-paced position with an innovative and stable organization (since 1953), SubCom has opportunities to advance your career.  Position Overview:  The Process Engineering Technician is responsible for supporting all areas in Extrusion and Manufacturing encompassing, but not limited to, procedure writing, operator and supervisor training, process improvements, troubleshooting process issues, evaluation of non-conforming product, and maintenance.  In this position, you will coordinate technical discussions for the processes involved in your assigned area.  This position will support existing Engineering personnel in this area. Candidates must be willing and able to work any shift. Responsibilities and Duties:    *Monitor daily operations for conformance to standard process specifications.  *Hands-on support of manufacturing processes.   *Troubleshooting process problems and documentation of corrective actions.   *Assist in training of production personnel on new products, equipment and processes.   *Conduct trials for the department. This includes gathering data and analyzing information.   Ensure all database information and reporting is both timely and accurate.  Identify trends, resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or working with engineering team to provide resolution.  Help remedy malfunctions in collaboration with Engineering and Production.   Assist Department in the startup and evaluation of new products and processes.  Work with Process Engineers to implement process improvements.   Assist in production tool maintenance, improvements and corrective actions.  Identify and report safety issues to proper channels  Other duties and special projects as assigned  NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
