About the Role:

U2U LAW PC is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Senior Paralegal to join our team in Newport Beach, CA. Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, pleadings, motions, and correspondence
Manage and organize case files, deadlines, and litigation calendars
Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys
Coordinate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel on case matters
Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including exhibit organization and deposition summaries
File documents with state and federal courts, including e-filing
Mentor and provide guidance to junior paralegal staff and legal assistants

Requirements:

3+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm setting
Paralegal certificate or degree from an ABA-approved program preferred
Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis
Strong knowledge of California state and federal court procedures and e-filing systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
Professional, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
