Director of IDIQ Growth and Development

Overview: Aether Aerospace is looking for a Director of IDIQ Growth and Development to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving growth across Federal Government markets by identifying, shaping, capturing, and winning strategic opportunities. This role builds customer and industry relationships, develops qualified pipelines, leads capture efforts, and works across operational and technical teams to translate customer mission needs into winning solutions.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute growth strategies across DoD and Federal Civilian markets.
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline aligned with company capabilities and strategic priorities.
- Identify, shape, capture, and win high-value Federal opportunities.
- Develop trusted relationships with Government customers, acquisition organizations, and industry partners.
- Lead capture strategy, including competitive positioning, win themes, teaming, solution development, and transition planning.
- Guide RFI, RFP, white paper, oral presentation, and proposal activities.
- Leverage GWACs, IDIQs, and agency-specific contract vehicles to generate and accelerate opportunities.
- Develop strategic teaming and partner relationships that strengthen competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with operations, technical, contracts, pricing, recruiting, and executive leadership throughout the pursuit lifecycle.
- Provide leadership with pipeline forecasts, market intelligence, opportunity assessments, and growth recommendations.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, industry days, conferences, and Government/industry forums.
- Mentor and lead business development, capture, and pursuit teams.
- Other duties as assigned or required.

Required Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in Federal business development, capture, program management, operations, or related leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success capturing and winning significant Federal Government contracts.
- Strong understanding of DoD and Federal Civilian customers and acquisition processes.
- Experience with GWACs, IDIQs, multiple-award contracts, and task order pursuits.
- Strong customer relationship, teaming, negotiation, and executive communication skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional capture and proposal teams.
- Ability to develop growth strategies that balance revenue, win probability, margin, and execution risk.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.

Desired Qualifications:
Â
- Experience in cybersecurity, IT modernization, digital transformation, or professional services.
- Experience with GSA/FEDSIM and major Federal contract vehicles.
- Experience managing large-scale opportunity pipelines and strategic pursuits.
- Active DoD security clearance preferred.

Aether Aerospace is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employees. The salary range for this position is $190,000 - $220,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
