Who We Are Looking For

  • We are seeking a Facility Security Officer who will be responsible for maintaining Aery’s overall security program by implementing the required security policies and procedures to comply with all federal and contractual obligations.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Maintain the overall security program for cleared contractor facilities
  • Establish and maintain successful working relationships with government and internal customers
  • Ensure compliance with NISPOM, DCSA, government, and company security requirements
  • Prepare the facility for DCSA security inspections
  • Respond to DCSA findings and support corrective actions
  • Maintain facility security documentation and records
  • Process new employee security clearances
  • Track security clearance investigations and eligibility
  • Perform personnel security administrative functions using DISS and NBIS
  • Coordinate employee fingerprinting and submission of required documentation
  • Review and process SF-86, SF-85, and other security forms for accuracy and completeness
  • Process employee security in-processing and out-processing
  • Conduct security briefings, debriefings, and security awareness training
  • Issue and maintain required security briefings and training records
  • Prepare, issue, and maintain DD Form 254s
  • Review DD254 requirements and ensure security requirements are communicated to personnel
  • Manage classified visits and verify visitor clearance/access requirements
  • Manage personnel access to classified information based on clearance and need-to-know
  • Maintain accountability and control of classified materials
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, transmission, reproduction, transportation, and destruction of classified information
  • Conduct classified material inventories as required
  • Identify, document, and report security incidents and violations
  • Support inquiries and corrective actions related to security incidents
  • Maintain physical security requirements for classified areas and information
  • Coordinate with security, facilities, IT, ISSM/ISSO, and other internal personnel on security requirements
  • Support Insider Threat Program requirements and reporting, as applicable
  • Coordinate security requirements with program managers and contract personnel
  • Support subcontractor security requirements when applicable
  • Maintain employee and facility security records
  • Monitor ongoing compliance with applicable government and company security policies
  • Provide guidance to employees and management regarding security requirements
  • Coordinate with DCSA and other government security representatives as required
  • Maintain awareness of changes to security regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure appropriate security measures are implemented to protect classified information
  • Support classified information system security requirements in coordination with IT/ISSM/ISSO personnel, when applicable
  • Coordinate with Counterintelligence (CI) personnel on potential security threats, suspicious contacts and other CI concerns
  • Coordinate and provide required foreign travel briefings and security guidance to cleared personnel
  • Support CI-related reporting and awareness requirements for cleared personnel
  • Coordinate with CI personnel regarding potential threats or security concerns involving employees, foreign contacts or travel
  • Coordinate personnel security requirements for employees requiring access to information systems
  • Review personnel security requirements to ensure individuals have the appropriate clearance and access eligibility before system access to granted
  • Coordinate with IT and Management regarding personnel security and system access requirements
  • Maintain and track personnel security documentation, access authorizations and related records
  • Support onboarding, transfers and terminated by coordinating appropriate security and system access actions
  • Verify clearance status and need-to-know requirements for personnel requiring access to protected information systems
  • Ensure personnel security requirements are aligned with applicable government, contractual, and company policies
  • Support security investigations, audits and inspections involving personnel access to information systems

 

You Must Have

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have an active Secret clearance
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) 
  • Must have a High school diploma
  • Requires strong working knowledge of JPAS and e-QIP
  • Experience in processing SF-86, SF-312, Security Investigations and Periodic Reinvestigation
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, Teams and Outlook
  • Excellent presentation, briefing, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work well in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment
  • Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a deadline driven environment

Nice to Haves

  • Prior experience in government contracting
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications
  • Previous IC or DoD interaction/service and support experience
  • B.S. or B.A. degree or relevant work experience
