The good-faith pay range for this role is $37,700 - $44,500 year. Actual compensation may vary and may be above the posted range based on factors such as a candidate's skills, experience, education, certifications, and work location.
What your job will be like:
In this job you will:
- Update, consolidate and move webpages for lab divisions to the supported Drupal content management system.
- Meet with different division and departments to assess their webpage development needs and provide assistance with accomplishing those needs across the laboratory.
- Complete and document resolution of problem reports and maintain on-line documentation.
Experience
- Required: none
- Preferred: Demonstrated experience in computer support
Education
- Required: High School Diploma or GED Full-time college student majoring in Computer Science, Web Development/Designer, Information Technology, or related major with a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to navigate servers and large folder structures and working knowledge of 508 compliance relating to web accessibility.
- Working knowledge of Content Management Systems - Drupal (version 8/9 preferred), Drupal Themes, PHP, HTML (hyper text mark-up language), CSS (cascading style sheets), and Javascript
- Knowledge of image manipulation (re-size, crop, minor photo editing) in Adobe Photoshop
- Understand and follow established Computing policies
- Excellent communication skills both in writing and in speech
