$2.50 per hour shift differential when working from 7pm to 7am.
ESSENTIALÂ FUNCTIONS:Â
Key Responsibilities: Â
Maintain machines in good working order by cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting. Â
Examine printed copy for correct ink density, position on cups and registration. Â
Set appropriate speeds, flows, colors, temperatures, and positions for printing. Â
Examine and produce specific job orders. Â
Verify ink specifications, ink presses, change ink and adjust ink flow. Â
Meet production schedules and throughput yield targets. Â
Collaborate with other technicians to diagnose equipment breakdowns and address quality issues. Â
Post and adhere to lockout/tagout, hazardous material handling and hearing and eye standards. Â
Keep records of materials used and time needed for projects. Â
Maintain data on printing outputs produced, supplies consumed, and equipment maintenance and repairs performed. Â
Follow cup print quality standards for the printer start-up and acceptance testing. Â
Perform quality checks. Â
Foster an environment focused on safety, including but not limited to: performing machine safety audits, behavior-based safety observations, identifying near misses and opportunities for improvement, driving associate engagement on shift, and performing lock out tag out procedures.Â

QUALIFICATIONS:Â
Education/Experience:    Â
High School diploma or equivalent preferredÂ
Stable work historyÂ
Previous printing experience a plus (Dry offset, Flexographic or Rotogravure) Â
Previous experience on Polytype or Van Dam cup printers a plusÂ
Â

- Basic computer proficiency including email Â
- Ability to use Industry standard tools (pneumatic and electrical)Â
- Accurately read and use measuring tools Â

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & TRAVEL:  Â
Physical Demands:Â The associate will be exposed to the manufacturing environment where hazards and requirements may include but are not limited to:Â
Capability to lift and move up to 65 pounds Â
Ability to climb, kneel, bend, and squat Â
Proficiency in grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine motor skillsÂ
Ability to climb ladders safely Â
Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods Â
Ability to wear required PPE (hearing protection, steel-toe shoes, safety glasses)Â
Forklift certification or ability to obtain forklift and motorized pallet jack certificationÂ

Travel Requirements: Travel is not required in this position. Â

Work Conditions: The majority of tasks will be performed in a manufacturing setting with potential exposure to: Â
Noise levels above 85 dBÂ Â
Operation of complex machinery Â
Solvents, fumes and inks within the plantÂ

Must be able to work flexible shifts Â
May require nights, weekends, and holidays.  Â
An additional $2.50/hr. premium between the hours of 7pm-7am. Any hours worked outside of 7pm-7am will not receive the premium. Â
