Sandwich Artist

The Sandwich Artist® greets and serves guests, prepares product, maintains food safety and sanitation standards, and handles or processes light paperwork. Exceptional guest service is a major component of this position. Tasks and responsibilities include greeting guests cheerfully, preparing orders, understanding menu items, using Point of Sale system/cash register, collecting payment, performing cash-in procedures, preparing food according to formula and timely manner, restocking items, adhering to food handling, safety and sanitation standards, cleaning and maintaining restaurant areas, following quality standards and procedures as outlined in the Subway® Operations Manual, maintaining professional appearance and grooming standards, performing light paperwork duties, and completing University of Subway® courses as directed. Prerequisites include some high school or equivalent education, no previous experience required, ability to understand and implement instructions, physical ability to work in all restaurant areas, operate POS system, and lift weights as specified.
