Job Title: Rehabilitation Technician (Physical & Occupational Therapy)
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking, and compassionate Rehabilitation Technician to join our outpatient therapy team. This position plays a vital role in supporting our physical and occupational therapists by assisting patients with prescribed exercise programs, preparing treatment areas, applying therapeutic modalities, and ensuring the clinic operates efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities as directed by licensed Physical and Occupational Therapists.
- Prepare patients for treatment sessions, including setting up therapeutic modalities (such as heat, ice, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and traction) under therapist supervision.
- Monitor patients during exercises and report any concerns or changes to the supervising therapist.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment by disinfecting equipment, treatment tables, and common areas according to clinic protocols.
- Ensure treatment areas are fully stocked with necessary supplies and equipment.
- Assist with patient flow by escorting patients, preparing treatment spaces, and helping maintain an efficient clinic schedule.
- Set up and clean treatment areas before and after each patient visit.
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming, positive experience for patients and their families.
- Perform other clinic support duties as assigned to promote efficient daily operations.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with appropriate body mechanics.
