Key Responsibilities
Greet guests promptly with a friendly, professional attitude
Manage reservations and waitlists using the restaurant’s seating system
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
Communicate wait times accurately and consistently
Coordinate with servers and management to ensure smooth table turnover
Answer phone calls regarding reservations, hours, and general inquiries
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area
Assist with to‑go orders or other front‑of‑house tasks as needed
Qualifications
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
Professional appearance and demeanor
Previous host or customer service experience is a plus
