Essential Functions:
- Prepare metal parts and products for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, masking, and inspecting surfaces.
- Remove oils, dirt, rust, and other contaminants to ensure proper paint adhesion.
- Hang or position parts on racks or conveyors for the powder coating process.
- Inspect parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards before painting.
- Mask or tape areas that should not be coated.
- Assist with unloading painted parts and perform light assembly tasks as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies related to equipment and materials.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding production needs or quality concerns.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
- Moves parts weighing up to 80 pounds.
- Frequent cutting bending and moving of parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Occasional squatting, sitting, kneeling, and overhead reaching.
- Exposure to noise – continuously
- Lifting/carrying/moving up to 50 pounds frequently
- Continuously operating machinery with buttons, levers, and switches.
- Lifting parts above the shoulder and requiring 80 pounds of force to initiate movement.
- Standing, Twisting, Walking – frequently
- Continuous standing and walking on concrete surfaces

- Passage of Drug Test

- Good organizational skills
- Good verbal communication
- Diligence and attention to detail
- Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Experience painting a variety of surface types
