Role Purpose & Value
This role adds value by ensuring maximum equipment uptime, effective manpower planning, and strong leadership that drives continuous improvement. You will promote a culture of safety, quality, teamwork, and accountability while developing the capabilities of every associate in the Maintenance department.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct leadership to maintenance team members while maintaining a strong presence on the production floor.
- Enforce all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality policies and procedures.
- Complete required HR tasks: training, timekeeping, and employee documentation.
- Lead equipment troubleshooting, including full diagnosis, disassembly, and reassembly of machinery.
- Conduct shift pass‑down meetings and ensure smooth communication among maintenance supervisors.
- Confirm accurate documentation and communication of equipment status between shifts.
- Serve as the single point of contact for maintenance issues and downtime during your shift.
- Develop daily schedules and assign responsibilities to maintenance personnel.
- Source spare parts through tool crib inventory, manuals, OEM contacts, and create requisitions in iValua.
- Lead daily shift start‑up and safety toolbox meetings to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Audit work order quality and CMMS data: PM completion, part usage, documentation detail.
- Maintain logs of equipment downtime, parts pending, and non‑critical issues.
- Prioritize activities based on plant needs and input from Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
- Ensure strong collaboration with Operations Group Leaders and Team Leaders.
- Apply correct escalation protocols and maintenance system standards.
- Support autonomous maintenance and ensure proper work order execution.
- Facilitate team meetings focused on safety, quality, productivity, cleanliness, and continuous improvement.

Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline
- 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role
- Familiarity with CMMS maintenance systems
- Proficiency in PC‑based tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Strong communication, prioritization, and analytical problem‑solving skills
