Responsible for assisting doctors/nursing staff in ensuring that the basic needs of each patient are met. Daily tasks might include things like feeding and cleaning the patient or monitoring vital signs and health.Ā
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, dressingĀ
2. Obtains and records vital signs, weights, and heightsĀ
3. Assists patients with mobility: ambulation, transfer, discharges and ROM activitiesĀ
4. Performs post mortem careĀ
5. Performs EKG's, phlebotomy and blood glucose monitoringĀ
6. Observes and reports changes in patients' condition to the RNĀ
7. Maintains phlebotomy equipment and inventoryĀ
8. Other related duties as assigned.
