About the Role:
bills pizzeria is looking for an energetic and reliable Cook/Cashier to join our team in Newton, MA! Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Operate the cash register and accurately process customer transactions
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent front-of-house service
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and workstation
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with restocking ingredients and monitoring inventory levels
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth, efficient service during peak hours
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a cook, prep cook, or food service role preferred
- Cash handling experience and basic math skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
