Job DetailsJob Location: Main Office - Newton, MA 02459Salary Range: $89,000.00 - $106,000.00 Salary/yearWeekend Nurse Liaison (part-time or full-time) - $5000 Sign-On Bonus Named by The Boston Globe as one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts for the last four years, our community-based, mission-driven hospice and palliative care organization seeks a Weekend Nurse Liaison to join its expanding weekend nurse team. This is an on-site position located at Newton Wellesley Hospital. Job Responsibilities: The role of Weekend Nurse Liaison provides information about hospice services to patients, families, and hospital-based staff, conducts clinical assessments, coordinates hospital discharge plans, and maintains professional relationships within hospitals, with a focus on the assigned hospital(s).    Schedule and Weekly Hours: This is a flexible role offering between 20 hours (part-time) and 40 hours (full-time), based on the candidate’s availability. Candidates must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays, with additional flexibility to work Fridays and/or Mondays if preferred.   Education, Skills and Experience: Licensed by the Commonwealth of MA as a Registered Nurse. At least two years' experience preferred in community health, oncology, hospice, or palliative care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with hospital staff, Good Shepherd colleagues, patients, and their families Highly skilled at providing patient assessments and evaluations.
