The Manager of Arts Operations manages and supports all functions of the College’s visual and performing arts studios. Job duties include preparation, delivery and disposal of studio materials, supervision of chemical and facilities safety, coordination with faculty to provide the proper materials for the studio courses, the supervision and training of studio lab assistants, scheduling of open studios and models. The Manager of Arts Operations maintains a current inventory and participates in purchasing decisions and procedures. In addition, this role interacts with Maintenance, Security & Safety, Financial Aid, and administrative personnel and uses computers for inventories, waste disposal, safety directions for studio lab assistants, supply lists for courses, etc. The Manager is expected to manage the all the visual and performing arts studios including the UBC and LBC as scheduled; however, main duties are in the Newtown Campus.

Minimum QualificationsÂ
3 years job-related experience
Bachelor’s degree required in artistic discipline preferred (BFA), Master’s Degree (MFA) preferredÂ
Strong knowledge of studio and safety needsÂ
Excellent communication skillsÂ
Purchasing knowledgeÂ
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Primary Functions
Material supplies management
Studio assistants supervision, scheduling, and training.
Scheduling open studio time, lab techs, model, etc.
Work with Security to provide studio access when approved
Coordinate studio equipment maintenance and repair.
Inventory management
Ensure studio safety compliance working with campus safety organization
Faculty requests and adjustments
Salary Range $55,660 - $71,153 (Commensurate with background and experience)
