The Director, Enterprise Systems, provides leadership and oversight for the college’s enterprise technology environment, including ERP systems, databases, cloud applications, and related integrations. This role ensures the reliability, security, and efficiency of administrative and academic systems that support students, faculty, and staff. The Director collaborates with stakeholders to align technology solutions with institutional goals and strategic initiatives. Also, the Director will supervise integration of campus systems to ensure synergy of data flow across various campuses.  Further, they will work to keep the college well-positioned in terms of ensuring the security and integrity of data, data systems, and data networks across the entire organization. 

Requirements and Duties

  • 5–7 years of prior supervisory or management experience.

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.

  • Excellent Supervisory management skills and experience supervising programmers and analysts in support of large third-party software packages.

  • Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation with all levels of employees, students, parents, and other constituencies.

  • Experience administering ERP and SIS systems

  • Experience in medium and large-scale project management

  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, cloud architecture, and security best practices.

  • Experience leading technical teams with diverse skillsets

  • Experience in performing and supervising system integrations

  • Experience with higher education ERP systems (e.g., Ellucian Colleague, WorkDay, etc.)

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement long-term strategies for enterprise systems that align with the college’s mission and IT roadmap.

  • Participate in IT governance and planning processes.

System Management:

  • Oversee the design, implementation, integration, and maintenance of ERP systems (e.g., Banner, PeopleSoft) and related applications.

  • Manage cloud-based solutions and ensure cost-effective, secure operations.

  • Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508) and data security protocols.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and mentor staff, including application developers, database administrators, and systems analysts.

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Project Management:

  • Lead enterprise-wide technology projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.

  • Coordinate with vendors and consultants for system enhancements and integrations.

Operational Oversight:

  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure business continuity through disaster recovery planning.

  • Maintain documentation, workflows, and automated processes for account provisioning and security.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with academic and administrative departments to understand needs and deliver effective technology solutions.

Salary Range $98,000-105,000 (Commensurate with background and experience)
