HMA Plant Operator II

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operate asphalt plant equipment safely and efficiently to support daily production targets.

• Monitor plant controls and systems to ensure consistent quality and optimal performance.

• Perform routine inspections, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

• Collaborate with team members to coordinate material flow and maintain smooth operations.

• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized worksite.

What We Are Looking For

• Ability to learn and operate Hot Mix Asphalt plant systems and related equipment.

• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

• Capacity to troubleshoot issues and apply sound judgment in fast-paced environments.

• Willingness to perform physical tasks and work in varying outdoor conditions.

• Reliability, adaptability, and a proactive approach to daily responsibilities.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
